We have returned from Bolivia and thus finished our last trip of 2025. Thanksgiving day was spent in 90 degree weather, enjoying plantains, rice, beans and pineapple juice. Lizzy is studying Portuguese in Brazil and was able to join us in Bolivia, and we were so grateful to get to spend time with her!
We had three successful church planting trainings and were able to meet with a few men who we believe God has equipped to be new on the ground trainers.
Some of the highlights from the trip-
*At one point, we sat for dinner in a home, and realized the small table represented Americans, Brazilians, Peruvians, and Bolivians. All with the same heart to take the gospel to the nations!
*We visited a small village, which is soil and not very open to the Gospel. We were able to meet and encourage the local pastor there. He shared that his one year-old son became very sick this year and had gone five days without eating. So his small church began to pray fervently and when they finished, the little boy ate and began to heal. We serve a miracle working God, who hears prayers from small, hidden sanctuaries, where believers trust God for DAILY provision.
It was such a blessing to get to spend Thanksgiving with Lizzy. Since we could not spend it with Anna, we promised her that we would eat buckets of mashed potatoes and gravy upon our return…
